DavidSW — SkyDweller Need Help

Saw this odd marking on a black dial sky dweller on DavidSW I’m considering - anyone know what this is? Thanks!

Its a sign of you having received a stickered watch, a rare and valuable thing to have these days. Congratulations!

It's a sort of "bar code" printed on the sticker.

Pardon my ignorance

But is that literally the sticker?

I don’t recall the stickers from the ones purchased from my AD bc they remove them in real time. Thanks!

These are likely overseas ADs that are leaving stickers on but are legit nonetheless.

As others have stated, just a bar code on the sticker protecting the side of the case during transport and handling.

This sticker covers the entire side of the case and you can see the tabs on the bottom of the watch, wrapping around to the case back.

Good sign of an OEM sticker which are rarely seen in the wild today since nearly all AD’s remove the stickers prior to purchase. This indicates the watch should be in new and unworn condition.

If you took the time to look closely, you can see the sticker on the left. If you were interested in Rolex before all this yolo buy everything you see fad, you would have been allowed to try them on at ADs and you would have noticed all the stickers. Sad that now everything happens online and people buy from the guys that create the shortages, while also handing them a fat pile of extra cash.

No need to attack the OP here. You were once just like him or her, trying to be informed about an expensive purchase. In fact, the OP states that they have purchased at an AD before, so they're likely not this caricature that you describe.

Now that you’ve got your answer, I hope you get your watch. Sky D is awesome, and David is a great guy to buy it from.

(Ignore the grey haters and consider yourself fortunate to be able to get the watch you want, when you want it.)

Im not attacking anyone (except greys). I’m just stating about the sad market we are in; had this been at an ad, maybe the customer could’ve asked the salesperson who would’ve loved to share how it helps Rolex in their inventory etc etc. Only questions now are ‘ is anything in stock’.
Yes, maybe I did sound a bit rude. Apologies.
frustrating for everyone, except maybe for the greys…

When a secondary seller like David or others have pieces with stickers like this, does that mean they always came from international AD? Or is it possible it’s still coming from US authorized dealer who just didn’t comply with Rolex policy to remove?

It is part of the original sticker set on new Rolex watches. Rarely seen in the wild anymore these days. DSW is legit and you should have no worries purchasing from them!

Agree - I traded a watch with him recently and was treated very fairly. The new unworn watch came fully stickered.
