jadaj - WATCH OUT

Hello everyone. I have sold a Rolex Datejust 41 126334 Black Dial Oyster Bracelet to a user nicknamed "jadaj". Before he paid me, we spoke on the phone, we agreed on the price and he paid me with PayPal Goods & Services. I shipped the package and gave him the tracking number. The day before the courier delivered the package to him, he opened a claim that he had not received the package. This surprised me a lot because he had a tracking number, so I tried to contact him by phone to find out why he did it. When I called him, I realized he had blocked my number. So I called from another number and he immediately hung up when he heard my voice. When he received the package next day, he changed the cause of the claim to "product is defective or not as described". There is still no contact with him. I expected a user with a lot of positive feedback not to act like that. Mr. "jadaj" probably thinks that if I'm a new trader on this forum, you can just try to f*ck me. You're really pathetic.

Per Jad, you sold him a piece then cancelled the shipment after payment, when he reached out you sent package with fake watch. Jad says he can't reach you, not the other way around.

Please explain?

Yes, I canceled the first shipment because the courier did not come to pick up the package from me. Then I created another shipment and shipped the watch as normal. When I called him to inform him of the situation, he said he understood. My watch was not a fake, I attached a document from RSC in Cologne to the package confirming its authenticity, so that he could be sure that he had bought the original, because the watch was without papers.

This complaint isn’t consistent with my experience with Jadaj. I’ve done business with Jadaj for well over $10k and multiple watches and he was very knowledgeable and was a very smooth transaction. He is a legit watch trader and would not scam anyone or jeopardize his reputation here.

I personally have had very smooth deals with "jadaj". In the last 5 days I have sold him 3 watches valuing over 30k in two different deals. He has been very responsive throughout each of the deals and we continue to have phone calls frequently to work out new deals. He has been nothing but honest and great to work with in my experience which is why this post is very confusing to me.

I am new to TRF but have a lot of references on WUS (Bctimekeeper), and reddit (Bctimekeeper).

I had a great transaction with [mention]jadaj [/mention] on a watch close to $20k. He even covered some of the service cost after the transaction was complete and really didn’t have to nor did I ask for him to cover anything. He offered.

New (to TRF) dealer claiming another TRF dealer is a scammer will require some sorting out - hope it can be done.

I can’t figure it out - Mods should ask for substantiation from both parties unless this was a deal NOT done in TRF.

wjed- I can’t find the listing here - was this an eBay or website or other platform sale?

I've been dealing and trading with Jad for nearly three years now without a hitch--ever. My "watch out" for Jad relates only to some really quality merchandise that I can always either enjoy myself or make an inventory turn on in my sideline business. When Jad texts or calls, I know there's a good deal to watch out for!!!

Over the years, Jad and I have done close to $120K in business together without a single problem. I just had to stand up for him--look at all his excellent reviews. Too bad things got off on a bad note.... Jad is solid!

If you haven’t seen it, the owner of the forum recommends claims against another member be supported by more details than you shared earlier.

I also had a good transaction within the last two weeks with jadaj for over $25,000. You can track my for sale posts and my feedback to him. I had two of the three watches I sold to Jad listed here at TRF. I agreed to payment after the watches were received since I am a new member with no references and he paid as agreed. Hopefully this gets sorted out for both parties if it was a good faith transaction on both sides.

Hey guys can’t thank you enough. And thanks to the Mods for reinstating my account.

A special thanks to the member who looked up the IP address in the comments above. “That was awesome.”

This was a case if too good to be true. $7,000 for a 2020 datejust 41 with fluted white gold bezel.

The day before the watch was to be delivered the tracking said canceled by sender. I text him no answer. I called him only to find his number has been disconnected. At this point I realized it was most likely a scam.

I opened a case with PayPal saying item not received but it was delivered the very next day. I felt pretty bad for opening the case until I held the watch my hand for about five seconds.

I called Paypal to change my case from item not delivered to item not as described as he definitely didn’t disclose he was selling a fake Rolex.

Paypal asked how I knew? I told them 12 years of experience. I also offered to take it to a third-party to verify which I have done.

I have pictures to substantiate all of this along with screenshots of our conversation in which this new member went dark. Here’s the invoice through PayPal that I paid. I was pretty excited to get the deal but sadly too good to be true. Will update you guys on how this PayPal case goes. The guy seems like a pretty good liar so I’m worried about the outcome. Wish me luck. and thanks again for all the support.
