Titanium?
I am just curious what peoples feeling are towards the titanium panerai models. I am doing some research and I am leaning towards a 176 or 177. I am not a big fan of polished watches and love the look of the ti and pvd models. From what I have read so far, people seem to like the ti models but the SS models seem to be the favorites of many members. I am just looking for some first hand experiences as to the pro's and con's of the ti models. Thanks in advance from a future Panerai owner.

I'd say that in terms of popularity and production numbers, SS and/or polished are more popular. This includes both Radiomir and Luminor models. Then there's the old adage that needs to be added to such inquiries: Buy what you love and what sings to you!!

I have a 279 and like the brown face. I rarely wear it due to being a creature of habit with to many others in the collection. It does have a nice look and weight. I have not noticied it scratching any easier.

I have a 24 and a 25. I love the titanium, the 25 is about 40% lighter than the 24.
Above all is very stealth. |

Only Ti models I would consider are 25 and 311!
Still, I would love to own a Pt model! Au is not my style at the moment. |

I agree with everything here. The best thing to do is try them on though. I do think Ti is a bit light for my tatstes, but that's just me.
