I'll admit it, I missed my BLACK GMT....
I was on my way home from work today and suddenly began missing my black GMT. I've been sporting the Pepsi bezel for almost 2 months and haven't even considered swapping to the black insert... until now! It was weird, I couldn't wait to get home to perform the swap. Here's a quick wrist shot immediately after the facelift.

Ahhhh... I'm sure Ed will be very happy.
That watch looks fantastic with either bezel, a different personality with each one!

I like black, but what about red/black?
Although Rolex didn't make red/black for the 1675 or 16750, I need a red/black for my GMT. Anyway, stay tuned to this same bat channel, same bat time next week. Blue/red, black, or red/black, it's like 3 watches in 1 and the GMT. More bang for your buck than a ceramic bezel, now if I can just figure out a way of getting that new cal.3186 movement into my old 1675 case. |

To be honest I wish I didn't have both inserts. I'm always torn between the two. If I only had one color I wouldn't have the option.

If my memory's correct, you originally swapped from a black insert to black/red. Am I correct?

Yeah, but the things you would do to your watches are not fit for a family forum like this one.
