Is this normal help required

Bought my Speedy 1861 3 weeks ago and love it. The problem is I am already looking at leather and fabric strap options.

It's only the beginning, my man. You truly have the pure definition of a
Strap Monster on your hands - er - wrist, as it were...

Good luck. Actually - have fun!

There isn’t a strap/bracelet/nato that doesn’t work on a Speedy.

If you had gotten 3861 with the new bracelet your woes would be cured.

Didn’t like the excessive taper on the strap and prefer old school feel of 1861
Whichever I chose still feel I would have felt the lure of additional straps

Actually normal
I found dark green and brown leather look particularly good on Speedy
Check also some bracelets from Forstner and US
Enjoy!

Good points here. I found a dark green strap made from Horween Shell Cordovan. I don't mount it very often, but it does look cool in person and I enjoy it on occasion. It's a bargain at Holben's on line, in case anyone wants to check it out.
