New pan 312

Just picked up my 312 from Beverly Hills Pan store. Watch looks great and feels solid. Does anyone know if I should have got a discount of list price?
I paid $7400 and they let me pick 2 extra bands. A total of four bands: Brown alligator, black alligator, brown leather and rubber.
I am used to wearing a daytona/submariner and feel the pan is gigantic, how long does it take to get used to the size?
Pretty happy with the purchase so far.
Thanks for all the feedback.

Don't think anyone will pick one up with a discount. You seem to have done very well with the straps though. Great watch, mine should arrive soon, June/July!!!

my pan is #0039/2000, is more favorable to have a high number or lower number? HOw does that affect value?

Numbers don't affect the value, unless you get the "lucky numbers" that some cultures covet.
Enjoy the watch, wear it with passion.

Like Launch Mini said, doesn't really make a difference, would be nice to get no 0001 or 0312.

Congrats and welcome ,!!! as you read prior its not very likely you get any discount on the Pams at the AD's , but for sure they made a very nice gesture to throw in some straps.. thumbs up for that... i mostly get a smile for free... and a bag.. LOL..

Same here. I paid $7400 before taxes and didn't get anything extra though I might try to get a winder from them when I pick it up.

Getting two straps is pretty good for a watch that will sell out quickly. Panerai are different in that way to Rolex, most of the sought after models sell for MRSP unless you have a relationship with the AD, infact getting the hard to get models is the AD giving preference to you.

The size thing will be a bit of a change for a few weeks, the scary thing is once you're used to it you will put the daytona back in in a couple of months time and feel it's way too small

The boutiques won't discount. Some ADs now do.

Congrats on a beautiful watch!

I picked mine up a few weeks ago now and they wouldn't throw in a winder or a strap. In total I paid over $7700 because of taxes! :(
