14060 variations
What are the major differences between 14060, 14060A and 14060M? My sub 14060 being serviced by RSC indicates it is a 14060 with no suffix following the model. It also has a E s/n which is a 1991 production.
Insights? Thanks. |

If I recall correctly, the 14060 used a caliber 3000 movement, and was designated the 14060M when the movement was changed to the 3130. Don't know anything about a 14060A, though.
For a comparison between the 3000 and 3130, look here.

No sweat, RC - I asked the same question about two years ago.

James is right about the movements. The 14060 had 27 jewels while the later 14060M is fitted with 31 jewels. Never heard of a 14060A!!
Cheers - JJ
