Warranty Question

The "bead" on the Bezel of my SD43 came off. I am not sure when or how it happened but I just noticed it was gone this morning and it was definitely recent as I wear and look at the watch often. The warranty card is from June 2017 so there is still some warranty left. My questions are:

1.) Is this something Rolex Warranty will cover?

2.) If not how do I go about getting a new bead installed that is a genuine Rolex part. Will I need to send it to Rolex to repair?

I would post the picture I took but apparently it is too large of an image. Thanks in advance for the help!

Should be covered as long as you don’t have any signs of damage from dropping it etc. take it your local ad with card and send it off or drive or mail to Dallas rsc.

Should be covered unless it was caused by drop or physical impact.

I would contact RSC directly and not go through an AD

RSC located in Dallas. Take your watch and warranty card to them for inspection.

There was a time when the entire insert would need to be replaced to fix a lost or broken pip. Rolex did come up with a tool and ability to replace only that part, and some Dealers will have watchmakers that can do the job.

Unless it fell out because of a manufacturing defect, it might not be covered by the warranty. A warranty is not for fixing stuff that break from use or damage.

Sometimes they do fix small stuff free of charge though.
