Incoming vs Longtermer - opinions please!

So happy to pick this up - not too many regrets about the lack of jubilee..
Which one do you prefer, incoming DJ36, or my trusty DJII??
Happy Friday everyone!!

36 for me.

Nice looking DJII but the larger batons bug me.

This DJ 36. It is the best reference since the original, and represents the brand's quintessential. Congrats

36 looks great on oyster. I prefer the smooth bezel, but it looks great on your wrist. Congrats and enjoy..

They both look great on you. The blue dial/fluted is more eye catching if I had to pick a favorite.

Congratulations!

To me, the DJII has the more functional dial. Larger hour markers, larger dial, defined minute track, solid bezel.

The newer DJ 36 is more attractive with the blue dial combined with the fluted bezel.

I would not pick one over the other, and both could coexist in a collection

36 looks great.
I like the current DJ41 but never really took to the DJ2.

36 for me. Its a shame they don't make the current DJ36 with a white dial.

Size and looks wise I prefer the DJ II. It is hard to beat a Rolex with a Blue dial and there is no second choice on this. There is enough room in a collection for both of these watches.

Thanks for the replies!

Thanks for the warm welcome to my first posts and replies!

I must say I loved the DJII when I first got it then there was a period when I thought it was too big! But now love it again.

However the DJ36 blue is a complete game changer. I really do think it’s a great combo and yes I was thinking whether I should have got it on the jubilee..

Next choice? Submariner or too similar to my BB58??
