The blame doesn’t lie solely with the gray market dealers. There is plenty of blame to go around in this current reality when everybody’s incentives are messed up.

I’ll repeat it again - There is little incentive for an AD to sell a customer a hot watch when they can make a lot more money elsewhere. There is little incentive for a new customer to keep a hot watch when they can either make a lot of easy money, or they need to buy stuff to get to the level of attaining what they’ve wanted all along.

Until that cycle is broken, the grays will thrive and they are simply providing a service. A valuable service that is necessary for the overall strength of the watch market, in my view.

Has anyone seen the frosted bracelets in the flesh? Are they flashy or a bit more subtle? Hard to tell from photos.

The rose gold frosted looks darker IRL. The frosting seems to absorb the light. I've only see it on a ladies model though.

The white gold isn't anywhere near as bling IRL as first impressions may suggest from pics. Again, it's all about light conditions. Under the lights it sparkles intensely. I've only seen the purple chrono white gold model, it was on my radar a couple of years back, but I decided that it was too flashy for me, even though it wasn't as flashy as I expected.

Unfortunately very true, but there are too many people willing to pay whatever the price may be. See Richard Mille for example.. buying at boutique is impossible and grey market with 300-600% upmark is the only way of getting one on your wrist.

I saw the white gold version at the boutique. Totally not my style but tried it on just for fun. The frosted gold was not as shiny as I thought it would be and in certain lighting, it looked muted. The photo below was taken under direct lighting, but in most lighting situations, the surface does not look this shiny.

Has anyone ever seen this watch in person? Limited to 70 pieces, but I really seem to like it.

Just curious how heavy the gold 41mm versions are compared to the steel versions.
