My new Vaceheron Dual Time EVEREST

Sorry it took me a little time to post a thread on this new one!

What a piece and what an event again!

Getting to meet and chat with Cory Richards was a real treat. The man has done so much by the time of 40 it's inspiring. His photos are mind blowing as well.

He wore the dual time prototype while trying to find a new route to the summit of Everest. He held the prototype in his hands and it brought him right back to a time where he spent 14 hours on a ledge in minus 40 degrees F...he said the time moved so slowly all he could do was wait and check the watch...he figured each time it must have been an hour but it was only 15 mins...what a story!

The watch itself is awesome...super comfy, love the dial and the engraving of everest on the rotor...extremely legible as well...being 1 of 150 its quite rare and I'm thrilled to be one of the lucky few...

pix to follow...just took them at my desk at work lol

Congratulations once again

IMHO, this is the perfect model to commemorate Cory Richards expedition trip.
The sportiness look and feel while retaining elegance on this model is spot on.

Wear and enjoy this rare exclusive watch in best of health.

Cheers

This has been my experience too. I picked up mine 6 months ago and it gets the most wrist time by far.

I'm so envious! Congrats on a beautiful watch!

I've been hoping that it was released ever since I saw the story a couple of years ago!

You can but need to purchase it separately, as this LE did not come with it.

Apparently VC China saved one for online purchasing, anyone can buy it, whoever got quickest finger gets it I guess.

The guy has never bought any VC before, and got a number 150/150, needless to say he is very happy. Not sure he planning on wearing it though.

Really my favorite watch released of late. Just perfect.

Shame it’s too rare and too much for me!

Congrats!!
