Thoughts about the Girard Perregaux Laureato Skeleton

Hi All,

I was curious about your thoughts on the GP Laureato skeleton, specifically in gold, but about the collection of SS/RG/ceramic in general.

I know the main Laureato collection gets mixed reviews, mainly on its design origin. But overall I think the skeleton comes off a bit differently to the rest of the line.

Has anyone purchased one?

Thanks,

Mike

Fair enough. I did have a look at the Chrono models, and felt they were elegant, but perhaps a little sterile.

Have they? I guess that's sort of good. With prices everywhere else going up I guess it would be a bit depressing not feeling part of the upwards moving market.

I have not purchased one, but overall I really like them. They are very nice and in my opinion cooler than the watches they are often compared to.

Strongly considered splurging for the black ceramic version but couldn't gather the courage lol.

It's a hard thing to do sometimes. The price is key. But it seems that the ceramic maintains its price somewhat well, at least now. I think this watch has the potential to be a classic. But of course, marketing may not have been up to the challenge.

Well it does take work to clean up the edges from laser cutting. I think they use more CNC milling to create parts.

I saw, I think it's Oris skeleton, which is really roughly done.
