Is a daily rinse okay?

Hey guys i know our watches are water resistant and are fine as long as the crown is screwed tight. I work in hospitality and give my DJ41 a rinse under water after every shift. This is fine right? No negative impact in the long run? Thanks for the feedback!

I don't have the answer, but I wash mine with foamy soap every day out of necessity.

The troll posts are increasing even faster than global demand.

For maximum clicks, try “Is it safe to rinse my Rolex with ordinary tap water?

I wash with diluted Dawn soap every night on whatever watch I wore that day. You can’t wash too much simple because it’s the oil and grime in the bracelet links that cause wear. My bracelets have that new squeak for years.

Yea, it’s a WIS thing isn’t it? My wife would hear it in the car and wondered why I would want my Rolex to make a bracelet noise. She has now since been educated enough for her to tune out when I start watch talk (superior Rolex engineering with tighter tolerances, etc…)on road trips.

Another good point and the Daytona pushers can be unscrewed, the watch is water tight.

Yes it's OK. Doesn't matter about the crown being closed on a relatively new watch either.

If you could rinse your cellphone under water, how in the world would your modern Rolex not be able to handle it?

Water is fine, but with soap is better to clean your watch.

Just make sure to rinse it well.

Perfectly ok to wash daily with warm water and a few drops of Dawn dishwasher detergent.

The Crown doesn't have to be tight, just snugged down and you're good to go
A bit of liquid dish soap and warm water along with a good rinse for a more conclusive result. Soft brush for a light agitation is optional

Pretty much every day for me. Sometimes may go 2 days without washing with soap and water, But rare. I like mine clean.

My Datejust gets soap and water every 2 or 3 days. I never thought of washing my Bulova, and yeah, the bracelet did get grimy between the links and stain my wrist if it got damp. But this Rolex? I'm gonna keep that baby niiiiiiiiiice!
