Blue fluted dial datejust 36

Not an incoming post.

Finally managed to spot a Blue fluted dial in person. Had been interested in how it compares to the bright blue dial datejust. Exhibition piece.

Loved the way it shifts from a subtle texture to quite intricately detailed in lighting. Felt that the colour shade of blue is slightly darker than the bright blue. Contrasted nicely with the smooth bezel.

Some comparisons with a DJ36/41 with the bright blue dial.

How do people find the fluted dials? What will Rolex do next? Would love to see an adventurine dial! They seem to be the rage recently.

Great comparison! That fluted dial is pretty nice, and I’m sure even nicer in person

They really nailed it with this dial.
It’s one of the best looking dials in the current line up imho

I’d love to see one in person.

At first glance it really looks amazing and I like the textured contrast. The more I look at it though, the more I think it’s too busy for my taste… maybe distracts from reading the time.

I’ll reserve final judgement till I see one

I've seen the new dials irl, would choose the regular sunburst dials over these every single time.

Love it. Though I think I prefer it with the fluted bezel.

News to me. Would have to try one on, which may be practically impossible.

That’s a stunning watch that dial and TT go so well, not normally a fan of TT for men but that really works!
