Oyster or Jubilee?

The 126300 model is more beautiful with the Oyster bracelet or with the Jubilee? What do you think? And the 126303?

The general rule of thumb is: fluted bezel with jubilee bracelet, domed bezel with oyster bracelet

I have the 126300 w/Oyster & Smooth because I find the Jubilee & Fluted to be a bit too flashy. This is no way a knock to the latter combo because it is absolutely beautiful. With that said, to each their own.

Whichever one talks to you. I bought mine in 2019, which was still in the days when AD's had some watches in stock. I fully intended to get Jubilee, but I tried both and chose Oyster. Mine is white dial, domed, stick.

I never heard that.

I see the argument for it, but just don’t agree. Not that I can really offer up unique advice haha. It’s a real toss up for me. I lean slightly towards jubilee but both are incredible.

I think most watches come with oyster bracelets one way or another, so if you have a collection, adding a jubilee bracelet would probably really add something different and fun to the stable. If your DJ is a one and only I think it’s a 50/50 coin toss for me.

Fluted too flashy.
Oyster too common.

Best combo= jubilee + smooth domed bezel

I’ve often tried to answer this question, and always fail. I ended up getting two DJ 36mm, one on jubilee the other on oyster, so I could swap out bracelets as I wish. Impossible to pick a preference between Oyster and Jubilee, at least for me - both terrific.

There is no right answer here given the config options. Total toss up based on dial, bezel and honestly personal preference.

DJ = Jubilee

Super-Jubilee still available on 31s,why they discontinued it on the 36s .. They usually get it right, but not always.

Oyster, smooth for a perfect gada. Oyster has better longevity and smooth is less of an attractive nuisance.

I think the jubilee suits the DJ perfectly (regardless of smooth or flutted bezel).

As Chad said above, in a sea of oysters it’s nice to have a bit of variety.

I have fluted+jubilee but I think it suits a certain ensemble (a little dressier / country club). Considering sourcing an oyster to change it up and be slightly more casual.

Except the steel DJ41 bezel is not domed

Making this ‘general rule’ sound even more silly

There's no rules unless you like following trends and other peoples opinions. Your supposed to wear, rock the watch and make it work.

Jubilee not only because it is iconic Rolex but also from a comfort point of view...it is without a doubt the most comfortable bracelet I have worn to date!
