Isn't PAM533 just a new version of PAM270?
Aside from the color of marker and a different strap, isn't it pretty much the same watch? Does 533 have the dome sapphire like the 270?

Yes, PAM270 was introduced in 2007 and PAM533 replaced PAM270 in 2014. They both used the same movement - P. 2003. The key differences between the two is that PAM533 uses a faux-patina markers giving it a vintage look, but the PAM270 uses domed crystal while the PAM533 doesn’t. The present model you can find domed crystal model is PAM233.
Mine PAM533 says hi, ![]() Current collection: 1) Rolex Submariner 116610LV, 2) Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional 311.30.42.30.01.006, 3) Panerai Luminor GMT 10-days PAM533 Last edited by danwang0520; 7 November 2021 at 03:00 PM.. Reason: typo |

Looks like you've got a 116610LV as well. That is a great looking watch. Thank you for the clarification. The 1950 casing and the 2003 movement are pretty awesome. 233 still sits a bit lower and thinner w/o the rotor. I prefer the 533/270 over the 233. |

It allows you to lay the watch down for a week’s rotation without having to wind it if you own many watches. Current collection: 1) Rolex Submariner 116610LV, 2) Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional 311.30.42.30.01.006, 3) Panerai Luminor GMT 10-days PAM533 |

Allright, that might work if you practice a short duration per watch. Mine is one week for each one and the +20 watches in the box don’t help either.
