Pam 1320 vs 1033
I see some posts about the 1033, nothing much about the 1320- both have the same movement, different dials....any owners out there who wish to share their likes and preferences...and point out any other pertinent differences ...

So coincidental that you posted this as I am stuck between both models. The blue dial on the 1033 is nice and by having the 72 hour indicator on the back the dial is less cluttered looking to some but on the other hand what’s the good of having the 72 hour indicator if you can’t enjoy it while your wearing the watch ie 1320 to others. The black dial looks good with many more color strap options and can be worn with anything while the blue dial while beautiful is more limited with strap color options. Since I already have a few black dial watches I am slightly leaning 1033 but the 1320 is so damn nice as well.

Nice of you to post....I have a 1033 which I absolutely love, and agree darker straps look nicer on it, I do love the blue dial, although its not classic Panerai. I have a Rolex SS sub so it kind of nice to have watch with a different color dial....
The 1320 is lovely, and the dark dial more traditional, & definitely handles a variety of strap colors better. The blue seconds hand is a love it or hate it thing.......I have to say the 3 day reserve indicator in the back suits me fine, Id rather have an uncluttered dial, as this isn't really something that needs to be monitored or reviewed that often.... I don't see that many 1320 for sale tho'..... |
