Two years long honeymoon

Exactly two years ago today I got the call to go collect my first Rolex from Rolex Boutique.
Since that day, Rolex manager and SA have offered me a some hot SS models but none of the offerings was cool enough when put next to this one.
So far, I managed to put a scratch or 2 on the bracelet “12 o’clock side so I dint see then :-)” but none on the case or clasp!

I always love watches that continue the honeymoon; the ones that bring joy and make you realize that “this is your watch.” Glad you are still enjoying it, and wear it in the best of health for years to come!

Getting ready for anniversary #3 with this watch in a couple months. It's a great one for sure. You should see how banged up my clasp and lower bracelet is. It's a beast and can handle abuse. Gives it personality

Reason why I’ve always been a one watch man until I saw the BB GMT on the Siena Leather strap, I had to brake the one watch rule.

Congrats then. I really wonder how that clasp has survived,

It’s a fantastic watch, but not the most comfortable…are you able to wear it all day with no problem? If you like the SD43, you should definitely try the JC DSSD.

All day yes, I don’t even feel it’s there as I wear wear snug and above wrist bone.
I was offered the JCblue while I was waiting for the SD43, loved the dial but felt it’s too thick. If I decide to buy a second Rolex the James Cameron could be it as I’m in love with Rolex divers design.

I’m with you on this one - it’s more comfortable than one might think based on the on-paper measurements. I wear mine for long stretches.

Four years+ and I’m still nuts about it. Glad you’re enjoying yours!

Great shot of that Matt dial. Here’s my clasp, there are some scratches or hairlines, at least they become visible under sunlight.

Wow, that looks near prestine! You take good care of your watches.

I don't baby this watch. I figure when I send it in for service I'll get it polished so no big deal if it gets scratched up. I am a little more careful with my dress watches however.

Got mine this past October as well. Love the extra chunkiness and more aggressive teeth on the bezel.
