Sizing issue for BB58 Solved!
Disclaimer, I knew nothing about Uncle Seiko 2 weeks ago. A post popped up on the gram and for 30$ I tired it out…
For those who have a sizing issue where the 58 is either too large or a little to snug no matter what you try, I came across uncle seiko’s site. They sell a half link for $30. The half link is def a 3/4 link, but it appears to have solved the issue after a few days of all day wear!! I put the link on and had to move the micro adjustments from the loosest option to the tightest, and it is maybe 1mm looser, which is perfect! Even better, if it does get snug, I can now micro adjust it out! For reference, I have 7 inch wrists (give or take). I had 5 links on both sides and was on loosest micro adjust which fit well, but every now and then, it got somewhat snug after a few hours and I had 0 options. Maybe other options are out there, but this one really helped me! Also a tip for many of you with micro adjustments, I keep a cell phone SIM card pin on my keychain to allow me to swap micro adjustments on the fly! |

For what it’s worth, Uncle Seiko is running a 25% off deal starting this evening. I’ll be ordering the 1/2 link and president bracelet tonight.

Nice tip about the SIM pin. Gonna find one now for my keychain. Thanks!
Edit: does the tip bend easily on yours?

So the current iPhone ones do not fit well in the watch hole, I think the one I use is from a work android phone maybe or older iPhone. Also, if the pin is too long it may poke you when reaching in the pocket! Worth it, but… You’ve been warned :) |

I bought a 10 pack from Amazon for $2. We’ll see if they fit. And I think I’ll keep one in my wallet rather than on my keychain if it does work out.

+1 for the uncle seiko half link. I was skeptical but ordered one a month ago after finding out about them here. Made the watch comfortably wearable!
