Silly question about Rolex Hologram

The case-back hologram sticker used on certain previous Rolex models hasn’t been present on my recent AD purchases. I guess it was discontinued.

My question is, can anyone remember how said sticker was mounted to the case back? Were the round dots on the crown pointing to the 12 o’clock or 6 o’clock on the reverse side of the watch?

Any case back sticker I've seen on a Rolex the dots on the crown are @12.00.

Can't say I've ever noticed and I've had a swag of them from back in the day
But I know the orientation of the logo on the Winding crown is random

I assume the Caseback sticker is aligned correctly for appearances at factory as one of the last things before dispatch.

Yes, the stickers must be good quality because I have some pretty old watches and the stickers are still there and look used but this fine

Yeah, they can get a bit frayed and blury around the edges but they stick like the proverbial.
Perhaps somewhere out there, there are a couple of my old ones that may still have theirs.
I always asked that they didn't remove them at services, just because I could and see how they held up. Even the stickers were good. Lol.
