I asked him where I was on the list to get my Sub, and he (via email) nicely said, basically: don't hold your breath.

Is there some kind of shortage going on?

Seriously though, he said he's gotten some date Subs, but no Subs in the past few months. And natch those were all presold.

I guess I'll buy an Omega. Again.

Love these threads just to hear what customers are hearing from their AD/SA. As long as there isn’t a filter and no bs, I def enjoy these threads.

I no longer have an interest in "most" of what Rolex offers. I specifically am not into the Daytona's, rectangular-cased wide-lugged GMT's, funky dial colors, etc.

And very happy too with my old 5-digit Submariners.

The wonderful world of other brands of fantastic watches has attracted me, and I love every one of the ones I have purchased. Some are actually quite in the "lower cost tier" so to say.

I've been waiting for a Sub. Stopped by my AD this past weekend to follow up and was told they are getting Date Subs but not the no date. Told her I'd take either. I am hoping by end of year

All ADs are at the mercy of what Rolex sends them. Then YOU are at the mercy of the AD

Haha - Rolex deliveries go in bursts depending on what model's coming off the production line. A couple of months, Pepsi's were incoming a lot, now sub-dates!!

I visited a small market AD about a month ago. 2 locations. In a long conversation with the owner he said he had gotten about 6 subs this year yet only 2 no date subs

He seemed to be genuine when chatting

Called my AD yesterday - they are supposedly receiving a shipment next week but the guy told me to not hold my breath for the pieces I asked for (BLRO for 2 years now, new explorer 2 since launch, rose gold gmt master 2 and yellow gold green dial daytona)
