Was just at the boutique in Nisantasi. The store had a very good collection of watches, from your sports model to the non-sports / classics such as diamond Datejust that would be lying on the shelf elsewhere in the world.

Except every single watch in the store is exhibition only! Even the diamond DJ. What is up with the AD here…? Also see that the whole Istanbul is under the same chain.

I'm actually on the waiting list of that boutique for the Explorer I. Two months ago they told me I'm on top of the list but I'm still waiting for the call...

I know that boutique in Istanbul, my wife and I stayed at the St. Regis there in 2020 and even then the store was full of exhibition only models.

We actually lived in Ankara and the Rolex Boutiques there were owned by a different company and they were a great pleasure to deal with. They always answered emails and were honest and accurate. They got me my 214270 Mk 2 in less than 6 months in 2020....no purchase history was required, they just ordered it and let me know when it came in.
