I was at Jared Jewelry's Swiss Timepiece Event over lunch, and they had a brand spankin' new Milgauss GV available, which they said the Rolex reps had brought with them and so it was there only for today (of course, this could be a sales tactic, but they did have a lot of watches on hand that were not there over the weekend...). Nice looking piece, but not for me...but if anyone's interested, go for it! They are open until 9 this eve. Please ask for CJ or Elaine.

They also had a blackface SS Daytona there, but it had already been sold.

They have good selection, but offered no discount apart from the free auto winder that they giving out today at the event.

Btw, forgot to mention, they also have a Deepsea there as well...that thing is fargin' HUGE, not so much in diameter, but it's like a little wrist skyscraper height-wise.

I didn't get a quote, as I wasn't interested in buying either one, but on other stuff they'll let them go for msrp - some percentage. Anyway, it's probably a moot point as they claimed they were brought by the Rolex reps & were only there for the show yesterday...however, if you're interested, ping them, they might be able to get it back in.

Hmmm...I didn't get any call today...not looking to buy another Rolex anyway.

Jared will sell at MSRP + Tax...no discount on stainless, especially hard to get piece.

They're somewhat lax there, forgot to send me a card about the event, only found about it through happenstance.

Sometimes you can beat them down a bit, but other ADs in town are dealing more right now.

Got the call today...as much as I want to look at the Deepsea...I was able stopping myself from doing it.

No discount...I did asked.

$9250.00 + tax...the M5 or E63 AMG would never be a reality
