So Did I Just Get Taken For a Ride - Real or Fake Box?
So I recently bought an F series Seadweller for my fiancee as a gift and didnt like the original boxes much. Dont get me wrong, they are nice, but as a gift to the lady, i wanted one of the nicer looking newer style boxes....so I bought one on TZ. He claimed it was legit, but I get the feeling I may have gotten take for a ride.
Can some of you experts tell me if there is anything wrong with it, if if there is, what? Its not a huge deal for me because she wont be able to tell the difference and I bought it strictly for the purpose of gifting the watch and not as a replacement of the original box. Thanks, |

it looks fine. maybe you were expecting better boxes from Rolex?
seriously, Rolex boxes are functional and protects the watch but not the kind of quality you would expect from the quality of the watch they accompany.

^ Now THATS a box!
Well actually, i kinda had doubts of its legitimacy because it was being shipped out of Hong Kong...but he had a decent price on it...I got it a bit cheaper becuase I didnt need any of the tags, booklets etc as I already have all that from the purchase of the watch. but yeah, the box is nice enough - a lot nicer than the original thats for sure Thanks for the help guys! I am very happy to find out its legit! |
