Need part # help - bezel parts 79090
Hi all.. Had an accident with the Tudor Sub 79090. Perfect storm of events. I was putting my dog in the crate, doorbell ringing, dog jumping, watch hitting crate, then bezel goes flying. Of the parts I found, I have the bezel, bezel insert, and a thin and flat metal washer / shim. What parts am I missing and what are those part numbers so I can purchase them from my AD or if the won't sell them to me then where's the best place to get it from?
I'll post up pics later as I'm out at the moment (reason I was putting the dog in crate). I feel like I'm missing something as I seldom am without a watch on the wrist. |

.
As far as parts, that is about it. Unless you lost the Retaining Ring, which I doubt you did.. Have you tried to install them? Pictures would help. |

Hi. Thanks for the response. Just watched a video on how to remove and reinstall the bezel. Looks like those are the only pieces in the video. I was able to get it back together. All is right in the world again.

Hey
It just snaps in place. I’ve recently bought the whole assembly you describe for about c$300. Maybe try to pull it away from the watch. If it’s worn or bent it could explain why it broke off. Just see if it’s flush and turns firmly. |

At least you found all your parts. Back in 1980 I was doing yard work while wearing my GMT (~1969) and when finished I noticed the bezel was missing. In those days I almost never removed my watch, as it was a tool, not an heirloom like it is now. i was miffed that a new suite of parts cost $75, >1/2 the original cost of the watch, but bit the bullet and went for it..
Fast-forward three years, while doing yard work again i noticed the bezel assembly lying in a flower bed, nicely faded from baking in the sun the entire period. I thought about tossing it, after all why would I want an old, faded bezel--right? I tossed it in a box of screws and nuts and about 25 years later pulled it out and put it back on the watch where it still resides today. That extra bezel and insert turned out to be a good investment, and you can be assured I won't be tossing it in the trash.

My Tudor bezel popped off too when I banged it on a doorframe. Now it comes off more easily than before, so keep an eye on it.

You need the Rolex Tool 1006 to make the bezel tight again.
I did it many times before. https://www.instagram.com/vintage_georgex/ |
