94110 - Dial Swap… is it worth it? Photos inside…

I just spotted a clean 94110 dial… should I swap dials and flip mine?

Even though mine is a little rough it has a nice crappy patina that I have grown to like. If the case was thicker I would just do it, but this isn’t a perfect watch.

Good:
- new dial is NOS
- no dings, lume is fat and all there
- lume isn’t rotting

Bad:
- much lighter markers, I would need to swap hands or have matched so the cost involved
- cost to buy dial and difference in price

There is nothing wrong with your current dial and with nicely aged look. I like the darker patina too.

I'd keep the watch as is. I think the spread in $ to swap is higher than the spread in dial condition between the two.

I agree. Thanks guys. I like the more aged markers. Plus my dial doesn’t have that bubbled look so I think I’m doing ok.

I fail to see the problem with your current dial? If you don’t like the watch, sell it as is. Imagine a dial swap with white lime and creamy patina hands, yuck. Please do not touch the watch. I’m still trying to decide if this is a real question, or is the OP trying to get a laugh out of us.

You’d be mad to swap your dial! I prefer yours.

I have dial dysmorphia disorder. Lol

Y’all are right, the original one is cooler.

Not worth the trouble for the minor upgrade. BTW, regarding the loose dial based on the damage to the outer part of the dial, it appears that it was previously installed in a watch, so not NOS.

It's so strange, but understandable, changing a dial in good condition is only something we would do If we are strongly occupied with the watch. If we would lay the watch away for a while, enjoy some other watch, we would completely forget about it.

There was a time when I would have considered the same thing.
Now it strikes me as strange.

So in my opinion, keep the dial

If it were mine I'd keep the current dial. But since it's not mine, I think you should sell it to me so it is mine.

I think the OP has decided to NOT swap the dial.
