AP ROC 38 mm and 5167 or 5164 only

Hello and Happy New Year

A month ago I didn’t think about PP but for the past two weeks I’ve been thinking on adding a PP to my collection, first thought about the 5712 but for now is out of my budget, so was thinking about the 5167 which I could buy without having to sell any of my watches , however I like the 5164 as well but to get that one I would have to trade my ROC 38 mm plus cash to get the 5164.

So what do you guys think, is it worth trading the AP plus cash or should I just keep it and get the 5167.

Thanks !!

i personally would never trade a royal oak on bracelet for anything on rubber, especially when you're adding cash for what to me is a huge downgrade. only add the 5167 if possible

Personally, I'd keep the AP and add the 5167. You'd have an awesome bracelet watch with your AP and a great everyday watch with the 5167 on rubber. Don't get me wrong, the 5164 is on my wish list, but between an AP ROC + 5167 vs. 5164 I'd take two watches over one.

I had a ROC and have the 64, I'd do the trade for the 64.

If your 26315 is the white dial version then I will keep it and add the 5167. I love that AP.

I do own both the 26315 and 5164. Both really amazing.

I would rather own the combo of AP and 5167 over just the 5164A if I was in the same situation. Would pick my combo as first choice but I understand the value diff…

GL!

i agree with most of the previous comments.
keeping the ROC 38 + adding the PP 5167 is more favorable than trading the ROC+cash for the 5164
what other watches do you have in the collection?

AP + 5167. As much as I love my 5164, could not give up my only AP.

Wouldn't do the trade - would buy what you can afford, or sell other watches. Wouldn't part with an AP RO. Looks like you have a ton of redundancy in the Rolex department - I would start culling there frankly.

An AP ROC + Patek would make a stellar two watch collection.

I would probably cut a Daytona out first. Maybe the black sub next. See where you stand then. The RO adds nice variety to your collection and either PP would be a great addition

OMG, Rolex heavy
in that case definetly keep the ROC 38 and add the 5167 and that way you have two of the holly trinity in your collection

I’m with wetsum3. Why not sell one of your Daytona’s or subs. You have two of each. Then you can get the ideal solution of keeping the RO and getting a 5164.
