So terrifying, especially since this surely isn't an isolated failure of engineering/construction/regulations/regulatory oversight/inspections/penny pinching/cheating.
So many questions.... What civil and criminal liability and for whom? At what point does structural maintenance pass from "we can choose to spend the money" to "obligatory regardless of the cost"? What needs to change? |
