Searching TRF Classified Threads, is there a trick?

Is there something I'm missing when it comes to searching the classified forum? The threads that come up first when I run a search (I'm searching recent 5513's for sale) are literally a decade old. Is there something I'm missing, or is there a way to sort searches by date?

In Advanced Search - keywords - I typed in Rolex 5513, titles only and only ticked ‘Rolex watches for sale’.

The search function in general has become trash. I have found the most reliable method is to do an advanced search and specify a time period. Don't worry, there will be a particular mod stop by shortly and say the search feature works great, he does it in every past thread of this same topic.

Why not simplify the TRF search system by replacing the useless "basic" search function with the "advanced" search function??

I'm not a tech guy and have no idea the behind the scenes functioning of these things, but I do know the basic search feature used to work great. Something changed somewhere.

I’m terrible with technology, from my understanding it is an issue with certain browsers such as safari.

My trick is to just type in what you are looking for in google and finish it off with Rolex forums. Finds the same results as if the search function worked properly.

Advanced > Search Titles only is what works for me. Sellers are required to put the reference in the title.
