My New SD(M)arrived last week( Pics)

Hi guys, thought i should share some pics.I need a macro lens for better close ups.Quite happy with my current collection atm( keeping in mind that I bought my first ever Rolex less than 2 months ago!) but wouldn't mind a nice white SS Daytona in near future.

Nice collection! Congrats of your choices! I'm interested in hearing back from you as to what it is that you like about each of the timepieces. Specifically, why did you select the three pieces that you have?

Well, I was a regular visitor at TRF for more than an year before joining it a few months ago. Read a lot of reviews on all Rolex Models and developed liking for the LV, PEPSI and then SD. To be honest I almost hated these three watches ( especially the LV and PEPSI)when I first saw their pics. I thought the colours were hideous! ( I think any one who doesnt know about Rolex watches would think that green and red/blue colours are not very attractive). I thought that SD was a just a cheaper version of Submariner!!! But with time and education I learnt that these watches are real classics and have a cult following. Plus I love the "different" look.
I am thinking of getting the White SS Daytona in near future and that would complete my collection for some years to come.(hopefully!)

Thanks mate. I bought the LV and Pepsi from a fellow TRF member in Sydney and bought the SD from DavidSW also through this forum.
