Very nice!!! I would put it on a black strap though. The brown strap with the white stitching is confusing your watch. She doesn't know if she's a dressy sport watch, or a sporty dress watch!! :)

Great idea, I was thinking of different straps (black or navy) the brown was the one that Matthew Bain included

Great watch! I’d throw it on an aftermarket jubilee bracelet and see what you think. I got one in Amazon for less than $20 and was ver pleased with the difference.

Not that I know of. The original Tiffany paper (i.e. Rolex warranty with Tiffany store stamp) is the only way to be sure the dial is original, as far as I know.

Gotcha, I may call over and at Tiffany and ask. I trust Matthew Bain and he and his team did assure that the dial was original and not refinished

I guess you're already somewhat familiar with the issue anyway https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=728427

Anyway, more recent and extensive info here: https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=778533

I am a big fan of the brown/blue/YG combo. Maybe find a brown strap with brown stitching thus making it less sporty? I dont think black would make it look nice.

There are so many nice examples of these 16XXs out there, but I think yours is up at the very top. A real beauty.
