Icon5 Tudor 75204 engraving between lugs

Hi to all members, this is my first post, so please let me introduce myself.

I am from Austria and I'm 35 years old. Long time reader, first time poster.

I would like to get a second opinion out of the vast knowledge gathered in this forum. In the attached pics you can see my Tudor Ref. 75204 that I have purchased recently. There don't seem to be Red Flags for me, ai have purchased it from a dealer in Germany but the engravings between the lugs raise some questions.

I have never seen another example where the words "STAINLESS STEEL" are enraved not on one but separated on both lugs. Is this an original mid-case?

Thank you all very much.

Best Regards, Clemens

Fake sorry. Stainless and Steel stamping always at the same lug end not apart for a start, font wrong..etc...

It's really best to do plenty of research and post here BEFORE buying. A simple Google search would have indicated that this doesn't exist.

Hope you're able to return it - if you want to. If it was 50 bucks, I'd keep it for fun.

Thank you very much for all your information. I bought it from a Trusted Seller, that's the reason I didn't request pictures from the serial number before I pulled the trigger. I was so naive to believe a Trusted Chrono24 Seller won't sell me a fake watch but you aren't safe anywhere I guess.

The seller will take it back, he apologized and accepts the return. I was lucky I guess, will be much more cautious now even when I buy from commercial dealers.

Thank you very, very much for your support!

Yeah, it’s bad what the seller did. The watch is very obviously a fake.

That case is an obvious fake. It seems likely that the seller deliberately scammed you.

Shocking that a seller would try to sell something on that is as bad as that

Yes, it is indeed shocking when you receive something like that from a dealer that is listed as a Trusted Seller on Chrono24. He still claims this is a valid Service Case made by Tudor, I confronted him via phone yesterday...

At least he will it back and also pay the fees for shipping it back to him, so I guess I was really lucky that I inspected the engravings between the lugs after I received the watch. I am really angry that this was sold as genuine, even came with a Certificate of "Authenticity". I'm curious as well if he will just re-list the watch again for sale as an authentic one. I guess I will report it then, it is a Trusted Seller from Duesseldorf, Germany with a name starting with "Luxury".

Parcel with the Frankenwatch is on the way back, the dealer should receive it on Monday. I hope he will transfer the money back to me just as quick. Really glad I bought from a commercial dealer this time, this would have been an expensive lesson if I bought from a private seller.
