Just picked up my first Panerai
1950 8 day GMT PAM 233 Dot Dial. Loving it. This watch has every feature I admire in Panerai:

I just bought a 233 too and love it for all the same reasons:
The 44 mm is the outer limit on size for me. The domed crystal is why I chose the 233 over the 1090 The 1950 case is classic Panerai The sandwich dial is another why I chose the 233 over the 1090 The sapphire back is the 3rd reason why I chose the 233 over the 1090 Manual wind Panerai's are classic GMT function makes the price of a Rolex Batman seem even more outrageous Given their discontinuation in 2020, I am so glad I got my 233 before they became scarce.
