They’re all easy to get from an AD….if you have a time machine and can go back in time about 6 years. Just make sure your flux capacitor is working so you can get back and let us know how it went.

I fantasize about this from time to time. Especially with PP.

5167's going for 14k right here on TRF. Not to mention 5740's, 5796's, etc

Then Rolex. OMG somebody make the Delorian a reality

Go into a major metro AD that also sells diamonds and other jewelry. Drop $250k on said diamonds and other jewelry. After that I’m sure there they’ll have something to sell you.

In my area, mostly datejusts, an occasional airking, very rarely a two tone sportwatch.

See this a lot in the UK at the moment. If you're not known to the AD, they may not even take your name. Especially for popular models.

The AD I’ve purchased from before closed most lists 2 years ago. It’s a desert out there.

Either go grey, move to another brand or forget about it.

In Toronto you can get any Datejust pretty easily except for blue dial options. I dont see much in the way of OPs or other models.

I just started looking for DateJust 41 TT Jubiliee with champagne dial. Mind you its only been two weeks, I have not been told "it's easy" so far. AD's I have talked to tell me months of potential wait time.

I would go into your local Rolex AD, see if they have any in the case. If not, ask your question there.

DJ41 has now joined the long list of "allocation" rather than waitlist watches with WoS in the UK, or to put it another way "don't bother asking".
