A Piece Unique Minute Repeater MADE IN GERMANY from NIVREL of Saarbruecken.

NIVREL watches are designed and manufactured in Germany, specifically in the Saarland, in Saarbruecken's suburb St. Arnual. They use hand finished Swiss movements, which are refined and decorated to a great extent; A NIVREL watch therefore is called 'the German watch with a Swiss Heart'.

The idea behind the Pièce Unique series is to combine the craftsmanship and possibilities that a watchmaker and a goldsmith can offer. Each model has a hand-skeletonized movement, with hand-made movement bridges, partly rhodinized and made of 18 ct. rose gold or 18 ct. palladium / white gold.

MOVEMENT: An automatic Swiss movement based on calibre ETA 2892-A2, repeater module, fine finishing, engraved and hand-skelettonized. The rotor is skeletonized by hand and carries a unique number. The repeater module chimes the past hours and the past 5-minute-steps with a double hammer and two springs.

DIAL: The bridges and plates of repetition are first hand- skeletonized and then hand-engraved. The well visible star wheel (under which the hour wheel is located) is also hand-engraved. The hours and change wheels of the repetition are also decorated with radial-wave guilloche. The big bridge at 6 o’clock is replaced by a hand-engraved dragon. On the hammer, a ball made out of 18 ct. rose gold is placed. When launching the repeater, the ball moves into the mouth of the dragon.
