How many of us eagerly waiting for the new ice blue DD plat 36

Have been waiting for a bag ice blue release in 36 for a LONG time!
I do wish it was a smooth bezel, but I'll take what I can get and can't wait for this one to hit the ADs.

Have already expressed my interest in one, with the baguette dial.
If anyones seen it in the flesh or has access to one in the show case, please feel free to spam!

If I only could … always felt the smooth bezel on the DD a bit odd.

Also a gorgeous combo indeed! I remember trying the 40mm bag dial (plat smooth bezel), and I instantly fell in love with it. Just couldn't help but wish it was in 36..

I'm in the same boat in a way...waiting for a 40. Talked to two AD's and they both seem to think that it will be late Q3 or early Q4 before they reach the stores.

Thought it would be around June as well!
Anyone know if you can simply request a dial swap if they can only allocate the non baguette version to you?

Looks phenomenal on you.
Had been hunting the same with the stick dial for a while as well, they rarely come up. Now with the 36 plat with bag index, I think that one is my preference. I do prefer the smooth bezel, but really love the bag index, so I will have to settle for the new model.

I saw a preowned one in NYC but they wanted an absurd price.

I tried a WG DD 36 and 40 with white dial to check if it matches my wrist. The DD 40 seems to be a better fit for me. However I prefer the negative space use of the 36 for both versions (baguettes and the Roman numeral).

For the Roman numeral, I prefer the font of the 36, but my wife tells me that it looks too feminine on me and she prefers the font of the 40.

My AD told me they were expecting demo pieces in May (that's the advantage of living in the heart of the beast).

I will drop pictures as soon as I can.

Do you prefer versions with or without Chromalight? (I am so hesitant on that point... I wished all versions had Chromalight...)

Honestly I'm still struggling with glacier dial and fluted bezel on platinum watch.

I predict I will soon get there, though!

I sort of want this but I got the dd40 plat last year :( sighs. I’d 100% go 36 if it was available back then.

Nice to hear from an owner of a 40mm DD that he'd prefer a 36.
I still don't know how I feel about the fluted bezel on the plat, but I do love the combo of the ice with bag on the size.
I went with 36 on my yellow OP and I love it.
Most my other watches are 40mm (daytona, Pepsi, etc).

I just can't help but feel for the type of watch the DD is, a mix between sporty and dressy (to my anyway), 36 may be the sweet spot.
Doesn't hurt that I have puny wrists
