16520 Chrono counterweight variation
Hi all, I’ve noticed that the counterweight on the 16520 came in slightly different shapes. Is that something anyone else has experience with? I’m wondering if they could be service hands or hands meant for later models. I’ve looked into 116520s and they’re mostly rounded counterweights.
This is from an A serial 16520 with a recent RSC service: pointed, sharp tipped counterweight: The other variant is a more rounded counterweight without a sharp tip. It’s obvious without a loupe as these are rounded and the taper is far less significant. Many thanks all! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Hands and dials were made by several different manufacturers, as well as through several different production runs each.
It is more likely that there will be variations than that there isn't.
