Hi all,

Lawrence here. I am residing in Tasmania and am going to Sydney for a holiday between 1st - 7th July.

I am looking to get a pre-owned Rolex with a budget of about AUD$4,500. Preferably a sports series or a 16200 datejust.

May I please ask for the kind assistance of people here to recommend me to establishments where I can get good value for the budget I have within Sydney city?

no one has posted yet, so I'll chime in...

unfortunately, I think in this instance "good value" is a relative term.

A RETAIL shop selling used must make a profit, so it may be difficult to obtain good value compared to some of the waches for sale here on TRF in the Sales forum.

I haven't looked recently, but sorry to say I think your budget is really scraping in at the bottom end... may be difficult to find something decent at that price in a retail shop.

I'll PM you a couple of outlets...

I would check out the for sale section here on the Forum before buying from a retail establishment!!!

Thanks for your reply.

I have been checking the 'for sale' section in TRF diligently hoping to find a Rolex for sale in Sydney.

I had even PM-ed some of the sellers. Unfortunately, they were either sold or the person had not replied. :(

By the way, I seem to only be able to reply to this thread which I started. Somehow, I can't post a reply on other threads. I can only send PMs. Had even tried to send a message to TRF admin but it was unsuccessful.

Hope to land myself with a Rolex before I leave.
