My AD is family-owned. I joke with him that he would be nuts to treat me to anything particularly rare. Save that for his top clients. I know I would. I’m a mediocre spender and I’m just not that charming.

That said, I messaged him without hesitation when I saw the Black Bay Pro and followed up with an in-person drop in. He could tell I genuinely loved the watch and I know it made him happy when he was able to come through for me today!

I have a 6.75” wrist so when a 39mm new release comes along, it gets my attention.

My main traveller has been my polar 16570 Explorer II. Love the jumping hour hand and being able to track large time differences when my kids, my wife or I are overseas.

With the added sense of indestructibility and handsome under-the-radar styling, I have high hopes for this new Tudor.

Edit: Love the adjustable clasp!

That looks nice on your wrist!
Just noticed the lugs taper down and conform to the bracelet in a way I like.
How do you feel about its total thickness?

It’s not a thin watch however it flows well. It looks quite natural/intentional and wears comfortably. As you pointed out, the tapered lugs make it a great choice for smaller wrists.

I really like to look!

Can you please post a photo of the side to show how high it sits on your wrist? Thanks

Some side shots. Thick, but well-proportioned. A handsome watch.

After owning this watch for six hours I have a like and a dislike to add.

Dislike - have to get used to GMT hand being same (similar) color to the others. Not as immediately distinguishable as compared to the red of my Explorer II

Like - unlike my Explorer II, which is 27 years old, this lume actually works!

These are fairly snug cuffs and the BB Pro rolls under easily.

The shape of the instrument cluster is as big a give away as the cyclops is on a Rolex.

I tried on a couple of Tudors yesterday and I now get it. They are super nice pieces. Almost pulled the trigger on the “one” PO1 they had. It’s such a quirky watch that it’s cool.

I believe this new piece that OP is wearing is a direct descendant of the PO1.

Love it! Looks perfect. I have the same wrist size. I'm excited to pick one up. Glad to see Tudor getting a lot of these out into the market.
