SOTC update

I've been meaning to do a new "family" pic for a little while now, unfortunately the seikos couldn't make it this time.
Hopefully add another this year, although another AD I purchased from will be losing their status soon.
Whats next??
Collection has colour, different bezels, different sizes, different metals/ ceramic, different straps, different brands,

You definitely need to add a stainless steel sport watch on a 3 link bracelet. You know, for some variety.

Probably SOTC = State Of The Collection, my guess.

You're obviously a dive watch guy and from the comment and pictures not Rolex exclusive, so an obvious choice would be an IWC Aquatimer, I always thought that was the coolest dive watch that you don't see every day.

Personally I try and mix things up as much as I can, I like dive watches but I also have dress watches, maybe try a Patek, a Day-Date, something in between and even something a bit marmite like a B&R BR03, although I haven't worn it in over a decade.

Yes Mrk 1 and 2, It is a piece that feels good to wear, looks good in my eyes, and the engineering that's gone in to it amazes me. Id love a sky dweller white dial, for same reasons

Thank you, yes ive a few seiko, 2 in particular that are my "work" watches,
Id love a 124060 to "complete" the Rolex dive category, a sky dweller to add the dressier piece, yacht master to add the platinum bezel and be a little more dressier again, a day date will be my pm piece, I'd do like the JLC master control, so its on the list , a PP Calatrava one day
All so there is JS watch company Reykjavik that really intrigues me, love the look of their 1948

It’s very difficult isn’t it

Day date would fit in beautifully.

Another thought that just struck me, the yellow gold 40mm Yachtmaster on Oysterflex?

I still think that it's the nicest watch Rolex have ever made, it's got the lines of an early sub, the beauty of yellow gold but the Oysterflex makes it look really sporty.
It's the perfect watch for a dive guy that wants something special.

I sold mine to trade up to something and I still regret it.

The 42mm is out now too, but it's too big in my opinion, 40mm is just right.

A lot more than my simple 2, and you've shown us your wealth/ability to get Rolex's; but to be honest it's a boring collection.

It may be more than your 2, I thought after getting my first, DJ 11, why would anyone need more than 1,, the bug hit, they may be the same sort of watch "boring" look a little deeper they are all different, my collection has nothing at all to do with "showing wealth" as im certainly not a wealthy person, I work hard (builder) but like to treat myself as and when I can...thats why we work????
There are many different walks of life on here, some with 1 watch, that's great, some with many many pieces of top notch horology, one thing we all share in common is the love of watches,
Ive always been told and believe in, money doesn't make you a better person, I treat everyone the same.

Love the two JC’s and all your dive watches in general! Seems like you’re into Rolex exclusively, but what do you think of the new Omega Ultra Deep? Curious to hear the thoughts of someone who loves the Deepsea as much as I do.

Thank you, yes I do like the dive watches, and ive said before they are all different.
I do sway towards Rolex if I can acquire them, the tudors are great, I especially love the pelagos ETA, titanium and normally on the rubber strap.
I have seikos, that I wear for work, and the Brian may editions,
The speedy was going to be my first "proper watch" but decided on Rolex, as I knew I wanted one for many years, the speedy was added later, not the newest model, as when my mother passed away it was a full moon and as I wanted one it had to be the model when she passed.
As said all pieces have a reason to be there.
The new Omega is an interesting piece, but one I don't think I'll add, as my funds are limited, and the pieces id like to add are sub 124060, yacht master, sky dweller, day date, then a JLC, and if seiko bring anything else out that interests me , then may be Ill add that???? PP Calatrava is on the radar
