Desperately seeking a red/burgundy dial...

OPs not wanted...

Any ideas?

I like the omega a lot. I wonder what the market is on those?

I'm following. I've been passively looking for a red sunburst dial. IWC and Breitling currently have them and Grand Seiko made them in the past. Rolex had one up until recently but I've only found it in 36mm with diamonds.

I have been (cliché alert) "on the list" for it at an Omega Boutique since it was announced. I regularly check in with my man there but sense that it may be a long wait.

The only thing that puts me off is that the blue and green versions are sunburst dials which I really love. The burgundy isn't though! So although I wouldn't say, "No", at HK$77K, that and the fact that I will lose 25% straight out the gate, is tempering my passion for it.

Now if the GS were a Spring Drive, despite the thickness I'd probably get that instead.

I’ve been eyeing that omega on a bracelet. That dial is really nice.

I bought the Seiko 5 sports SRPD69K1 (red bezel, sunburst red dial) exactly for that purpose. It has worked well so far to scratch that itch ^^

Rolex Datejust ref. 16233 with a red diamond dial. This is an awesome watch and still fairly affordable.

You have to see this one in person. IMHO, there is no red dial that comes close to this one!
The texture, pattern and how it plays with light is second to none! And you get a high beat movement as a bonus!

Take a look at the IWC Portugieser line, there are two that come in red.

I've been searching for a red dial as well and ended up being torn between the Tank Must De Cartier with the red dial and the Oris pointer date.

I got the Cartier in the end !

How long is that wrist?
It looks like the watch is not a 36, it looks like a 31.

I think Oris now makes a red sunburst. Unless you're too passive to go look for it.
