Oysterdate Question
Hi folks -
I am about to pick up this 6694 (?) (from 1972-1973), and I would to get some feedback on how it looks from the group. Also, should this be a manual wind, or auto? Thank you! |

I have the same watch - according serial number 1971 - but mine has another braclett - yours seem to be of newer date

Hmm... This really looks like the model my dad is having! If it is the same model, it should be a manual wind.
This reminds me... About 15 years ago my dad let me wear it to school for 1 day, and wonder why it stops ticking the next day Then I realized it needs to manually wind up. During then I used to wear a Seiko 5 which was sent in for servicing. |
