Icon5 Question about switching bands...

Can an older jubilee bracelet be switched out to a super jubilee with hidden clasp? The watch in question is a 1999 model 16234. I know this is a total newbie question, so please forgive me! Also, can anyone tell me the approximate price for the newer bracelet and what it would cost to have them changed? Thanks a bunch.
