My first Breitling!

This one caught my eye a few months ago and i was finally able to acquire it this week. Was actually somewhat difficult finding one on rubber with the deployant, but I’m glad i held out and got that configuration. I love the fit and comfort of the strap. I really like the stark white dial and dial layout as well as the matte bezel.

This will serve as a great summer watch and I’m happy to finally have a Breitling in my collection! (Might not be the last…)

Congrats Eric on a beautiful watch.

The super ocean is a great choice for a summertime BBQ/beach day.

Thank you everyone for the kind words

I'm looking forward to seeing how it feel about it after a summer of wear at the lake. Sure seems like it'll be able to handle everything I throw at it every weekend.

I have been thinking of getting a rubber strap. How much adjustment is there with the rubber strap? Is it easy to adjust like a leather strap?

Congratulations! Beautiful!
Love the Super Ocean, especially on the rubber with deployment clasp.

Thank you! I've always been intrigued by the brand. They've really stepped their game up the last few years IMO.

I live in North Dakota and my wrist swells and "shrinks" throughout the day. We can go from 40* in the morning to 90-95* by mid day so I'm adjusting my watches a lot in the warmer months. I wanted the deplyonat on this model for that reason. I don't know the exact amount of adjustment in the clasp but I'd guess it's around 10mm. Really a great system that allows you to tighten it while it's still on the wrist (you do have to take the watch off to loosen it).

Overall very pleased with the watch, strap and clasp

That's my problem, my wrist changes size. I went for a bicycle ride and my strap was soaked, summer is here.

Would you be so kind and post a picture of the clasp open. The clasp on your strap looks quite different from mine.

A strap and clasp is big bucks yet I can't find a picture of how it works. I would like to reuse my clasp but it probably isn't possible.

I love it! This really looks like a fantastic summer lake watch or general outdoor casual. I've been eyeing this same one for a year now. Is this the 42?

The longer my Rolex AD keeps making me wait for a new sub (well over a year now and my milestone birthday came and went) the more I'm considering saying the hell with it and moving on to other options.

Sorry this took a few days, I’ve been on vacation.

Here’s a few pictures of the clasp and micro adjust system.
