What is the most expensive everyday dress watch you own?
Taking inspiration from another thread. Recently I've been having this itch for a croc leather white face dress watch. Today i was watching the Netflix show Lincoln Lawyer and saw the prosecutor wearing a Daytona. I suppose you can count it as a dress watch, because it's somewhat simple, and very expensive.
Anyway interested to know what you folks own. For now the only dress watch that I could wear daily is from a micro brand call DuFrane on brown leather strap. But maybe the Rolex president or Daytona will be in the future some day. |

The most expensive watch I own (daily wear, dressy, beater) is my Rolex Lady Datejust.

I have a GP 1966 blue face / rose gold that I wear occasionally; however, after I obtained my 18238 the GP gets much less time on my wrist.

Since SkyD is not a dress watch, none.

I’d need to dress for a dress watch. Hence, never needed one.

A dress watch is a simple three hander without date on leather imho.
Even my DD on President does not fall in the category dress watch

ALS Lange 1 Time Zone is my dress watch but in general I preferred bracelet over leather strap, so sometime I wear my D-D and RO 15500OR as dress watches also.

DJ41 is the closest I’m ever getting to having a pure dress watch.
I wouldn’t mind having this though. I think it’s really cool. Probably my favorite dress watch right now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I've been wearing my Patek 5396G everyday since it arrived in March. Prior to that, I wore my Patek 5110g everyday for 12-14 months.

nice pieces on this thread
and always nice to get reminded of the Cellini ever so often. It's such an unassuming and classy watch.

IMO a Daytona, regardless of metal, is an out and out sports watch.
My dress watch is a simple blue dial Seiko 5 on a brown leather strap. Its small and simple which again IMO is the essence of a 'dress watch'. I can't remember the last time I wore it, which shows how often I wear a suit! |

I would recommend the Vacheron Constantine patrimony for an elegant, simple dress watch. Just my two cents.

What has price got to do with being a dress watch?
