A few pics from today's ride-a blessed day

Sadly do to a crash a couple seasons ago I run and swim more than I ride, but it was a beautiful day in the Midwest. So after my run I decided to top off the air in the tires, grab a jersey and bibs and hit the road. It is funny how some things in life turn out, before my wreck I would have never stopped to take a picture, much less several. At that time I was so focused on training and watching my heart rate monitor that I was very tunnel visioned. These days I look at the world through different eyes, even though I am often saddened by the fact that my cycling career was halted just prior to beginning I am grateful that I can still run and on a occasion ride a little. Now, if I had my Rolex SS Datejust back that I sold to buy some Zipp wheels............

peace to all my friends at TRF
Russell

Fantastic pics, Russell!

For what it's worth, it took me over 3 years after neck surgery to feel really comfortable again on the bike, and as of 3 weeks ago, I'm running again! Be patient, maybe do some yoga or other exercise to relax & really stretch out...and I bet your body will come around too!

Thanks for the great photos!

Trying to put more miles in myself, Russel. Love the FIZIK saddle.
Be safe, be alert!
