Seiko and Grand Seiko JDM watches

Hi all! I just got promoted at work and planning a business trip to Japan. This will be my first time in Japan. I want to commemorate my promotion and my trip to Japan with a JDM Seiko or Grand Seiko piece. My budget is about $4000.

Is there a way to find a list of JDM references? I'm leaning towards a GS Quartz reference just based on budget. Ideally, and if I can swing it, I'd love to get an SBGJ235.

In Japan, if you're on a budget, stay away from the boutiques (at least at first) and go to the discount department stores like Bic Camera, which are often near train stations. They are Seiko ADs but usually have good discounts of around 20% on a wide range of models, sometimes more if you use Visa card.

The yen is at historic lows right now, as you probably know, so it's a great time to be shopping there.
