Tudor hybrid leather rubber strap (Black bay pro, explorer)
Hi everyone: I would greatly appreciate anybody’s insight on this strap. Suitable for water-wear, ocean, shower? Recognizing it’s new, how does it hold up overtime? Comfortable, or make you sweat?
Appreciate any insights Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I have the strap on the BB Ceramic. I think it's a very comfortable strap for the sort of outside activities I participate in, such as hiking, jogging, walking, etc. but I haven't worn it in the shower or swimming or anything, so I can't help you there.
It has held up well since I purchased it, however, one sort of nit picky comment I would make is that the hybrid strap doesn't 'wrap' around as neatly as other leather straps, so it kind of 'sticks out' (for lack of a better term lol) and, as such, is prone to catch on just about anything one comes in contact with. Also, I guess the force of trying to keep the strap end down was too much for the poor keeper (is that the right name?) and mine is starting to fray a little. Other than that though, it's a well-executed design. It even has these little 'snowflakes' on the rubber side to keep the rubber from sitting flush on the skin. Very cool. |

@watchwatcher ...can you provide the dimensions of where the deployant clasp is attached (spring bar end?) on the strap and the thickness.
I like the hybrid strap, but would rather attach an Omega style deployant to it for a nice clean loopless look.

So I have it and given that it’s half leather I probably wouldn’t wear it in water myself. This is probably their version of a lifestyle strap and then there’s the nato that also comes with it for water.

I got this strap on my BBPro - however I had to swap it out for a cheap strap temporarily. I found the strap a little small for my wrist - I can wear the watch on the final hole but it is juuuuust a little too tight to allow for the usual swelling.
Apparently there are two sizes, and the one that comes with the watch is the smaller of the two. My AD has ordered a fresh large one for me to exchange but they have no idea when it will come in. Overall though I love the strap itself, I can't really see the "hybrid" thing - It seems like all rubber to me. It's high quality though, and clasp - oh the clasp... it's fantastic in my opinion. |

Super comfortable strap. I’ll agree that it wears small. I was on the last hole with my 6.75 inch wrist.

I’m not the biggest fan of the bracelets, so for my everyday wear I always going with the watch with rubber strap. The hybrid strap from Tudor is quite good. You can easily go swimming with it and wear it every day. I was swimming with it in pool and lake and I didn’t have any problems whatsoever.

For those interested, look into the Hirsch performance strap series. Hirsch invented this hybrid strap style afaik, and you can swim in all of theirs without issue.
