Identifying original bezel on 16600 SeaDweller

I’m trying to advance my ability to identify original watches or indicators of such.

I’ve heard about a “tall 4” when identifying bezels on the 16600.

Can anyone chime in and educate me on the differences and what they mean?

Thank you!

Paul

Font inserts have changed slightly over production years on all Rolex inserts the so called flat four font have been used many times over the past 4 decades. Now all the dive range had flat four fonts around 2000 for a few years later changed to the more pointy 4 but makes no difference what insert in on watches like the 16600 SD as long as it's genuine Rolex.

Below picture of my own working tool 16600 from around 2000 font 4 is what they call the flat four.
