New Rolex or Tudor owners since 2019
How’s the ownership and wearability experience been thus far?
As expected? Better? Worse? Meh? I have some questions… |

My Tudor GMT has been fantastic. Long time Rolex wearer (25+ years). Was a little nervous that I would regret the purchase. Not the case at all. Rolex and Tudor clearly have a place, side by side in my collection. Each bringing something a bit different to the party. Will be adding more pieces from both the shield and crown to the collection. Current: - 16622 & 18078 - Tudor GMT - 79830 Past: - Sub Serti Silver 16613 - Sub SS w/Date

126610LN - December 2021.
BB58 - May 2022. So far, so good. I prefer the broader Submariner but also like how the BB58 differs from it. I wear them about equally along with a moonwatch. The 3861 is my favourite. That part was unexpected. No, I don't care about monetary value if that's where you're headed. |

New 36mm Explorer has been shockingly excellent, so much so that i could see myself dumping my entire collection for this one watch.

I have both a Tudor Black Bay 58 blue dial and a Datejust 41mm with a Wimbledon Dial. Big fan of both! I go through phases of wearing the BB58 for a few weeks then the DJ for a few weeks. Personally think the oyster bracelet on the DJ is more comfortable to wear then the BB58. I'm in no way saying the BB58 isn't comfortable.. just find the Rolex better.
I also added a blue nato on my BB58 to change things up. Overall, super happy with my watches. A Blue/Black GMT II, batman is next on the list. Been waiting for 6 months now. |

Bought my first Rolex in 2019, an AK 14000. Wore for a year 24/7. Absolute work horse. Needed service (most likely when received). Thing works awesome. My significant other has been wearing a Tudor BB 32 24/7 since November 2020. Swims a mile every day. Watch runs perfectly. I needed a bigger watch than the 34mm. Both my AK 116900 and Tudor BB 41 fit me much better. Tudor as back up. The 116900 does not leave my wrist.

Haven't yet worn. They're in my safe at the bank. The pictures on DSW's website were nice, though.

My Milligauss has been exceptional, I'm comparing it to the two Omegas that I own and the accuracy is on par with Omega, the comfort though is the big difference as the bracelet is phenomenal. With all the hot weather we've had recently the easy link has been a god send, it always just feels that bit higher quality than the Omegas too.

I had two subs in the past and love them. I don’t wear them to work as they are flashy Watch. I prefer low key. Being said that, I will get the new 41mm sub when I get my hand on one. Waiting for the call.
You won’t go wrong with sub. I sold both my sub with substantial profit. Not saying anything but facts from my own experience. I recently acquire a Tudor GMT. I prefer this has it over the Rolex as I try to own only one which per brand only. I want a Rolex to be a sub and I don’t like the maxi number on the Rolex gmt. Also, Rolex is more than double the cost of Tudor and I love the vintage look of the Tudor! Just loving it so much right now. In closing. I do take extra care on my watch. Is not a seiko….
